During January 2025, work focused on enhancing the valgur/conan-center-index repository by implementing configurable build options for SQLite. This involved adding support for the MEMSYS5 memory allocator and ICU Unicode features, which were made accessible through both CMake and Conanfile configurations. The approach included careful adjustments to ICU linking for MSVC, ensuring compatibility across platforms. Utilizing C++, CMake, and Conan, the changes provided downstream consumers with greater flexibility in tailoring SQLite builds to their deployment needs.
