Developed and deployed an automated documentation site for the pik-piam/piamInterfaces R package, establishing a docs-first release workflow to streamline onboarding and support. Leveraged R programming, pkgdown, and GitHub Actions to integrate documentation generation directly into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring that online documentation remains current with each release. By activating pkgdown in the build process and deploying to GitHub Pages, maintained documentation accuracy and accessibility for contributors and users. This work focused on improving the documentation infrastructure rather than addressing bugs, resulting in reduced support friction and faster external adoption while maintaining package stability throughout the development period.
