During June 2025, contributed to the babel/babel repository by enhancing TypeScript AST manipulation capabilities. Developed a targeted feature that introduced an operator argument to the TSTypeOperator builder within babel-types, enabling support for TypeScript type operators such as keyof. This work involved updating builder logic, refining type definitions, and expanding test coverage to ensure robust integration. Leveraged skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, and code generation to deliver a focused solution that addressed both technical and business needs. The approach emphasized maintainability and correctness, with comprehensive testing validating the new functionality and ensuring compatibility with existing workflows in the codebase.
