Worked on enhancing the cloudposse/atmos repository by developing a cross-platform feature that opens the Atmos documentation URL in the default browser when the atmos docs command is run without arguments. This update, implemented in Go with supporting YAML configuration, streamlines user access to documentation across Windows, macOS, and Linux, reducing onboarding friction and improving discoverability. The approach included adding an automated test to verify the correct console output, ensuring consistent user experience and reliability across environments. The work focused on CLI development and cross-platform compatibility, contributing to a smoother support process and more intuitive documentation access for end users.
