Worked on the xenit-eu/helm-alfresco repository to enhance the reliability of the SOLR backup cron job by addressing error handling and release hygiene. Improved the backup process by ensuring the job explicitly fails on curl errors and HTTP 400 responses, and by parsing shell command outputs to detect exceptions, thereby preventing false positives and improving operational robustness. Updated release artifacts, including a version bump in Chart.yaml and detailed release notes to document the changes. Utilized skills in CI/CD, Helm, and Kubernetes, with a focus on shell scripting and YAML, to maintain traceability and ensure system administration best practices.
