Worked on improving documentation quality and developer experience in the pytorch/rl and pytorch/tensordict repositories over a two-month period. Focused on enhancing readability, consistency, and accuracy of technical documentation using Python and reStructuredText, with an emphasis on supporting faster onboarding and reducing support overhead. Delivered a documentation hygiene update for pytorch/rl, correcting typos and grammar to maintain clear guidelines for contributors. In pytorch/tensordict, addressed a bug in the pad_sequence docstring by fixing a typo and updating example shapes to match actual output, thereby reducing confusion and supporting long-term maintainability through precise technical writing and documentation standards.
