Worked on the picnixz/cpython repository to enhance transport security by enforcing TLS 1.2 as the minimum version for secure connections, addressing evolving security standards. Focused on Python development with a strong emphasis on security and testing, the work involved updating the test suite to reflect new policy requirements and OpenSSL behavior. This included modifying tests to ensure compatibility when older TLS versions are disabled, thereby supporting safer deployments. All changes were linked to relevant security policies for traceability and audit readiness.
