During February 2025, Collins Johnson prepared the EarthAccess library for its 0.14.0 release in the nsidc/earthaccess repository by managing a version bump from 0.13.0 and aligning release dates across all project files. This work focused on release management and version control, using Markdown and TOML to ensure consistency and traceability throughout the deployment process. By coordinating updates across multiple files, Collins enabled reliable packaging and reduced deployment risk, supporting downstream integration. Although no major bugs were addressed during this period, the work established a clear, auditable release process and improved the project’s overall readiness for future deployments.
