In July 2025, Awhikax developed end-to-end backup rename functionality for the pelican-dev/panel repository, focusing on enhancing backup lifecycle management and auditability. Leveraging PHP, Laravel, and Filament, Awhikax implemented a new API endpoint and a dedicated RenameBackupRequest to ensure robust request validation and seamless server-side handling. The feature integrated directly into the server management UI, allowing users to rename backups efficiently while maintaining traceability through updated activity logging. Although the work spanned a single feature over one month, it demonstrated depth in backend development and API design, addressing both user workflow improvements and operational transparency within the application.
