During November 2024, Duzun focused on improving documentation and naming consistency for the OpenLineage/OpenLineage repository, specifically targeting Databricks File System (DBFS) path representation. Duzun updated the Naming.md documentation using Markdown to align DBFS schema and namespace references with the OpenLineage dataset naming specification, ensuring accurate and consistent lineage graph representation. This work enhanced the clarity and maintainability of naming conventions, which helps reduce onboarding time for new contributors and supports downstream compatibility with data catalogs and related tooling. The technical approach emphasized documentation best practices and careful schema alignment, demonstrating depth in documentation and data lineage management.
