During May 2025, Half-Ware developed and delivered the Algeria Chart of Accounts for the aerele/erpnext repository, expanding ERPNext’s financial management capabilities for Algerian users. The work involved designing a compliant chart of accounts aligned with local regulations and integrating it seamlessly into existing ERP workflows. Using Python and leveraging expertise in ERP development and accounting software, Half-Ware ensured the new feature supported accurate bookkeeping and financial reporting. The implementation was managed through a single, well-scoped commit linked to the relevant issue, reflecting disciplined change management and a focus on robust, maintainable localization without introducing new bugs or regressions.
