During February 2025, Jaagrav worked on the atlanhq/atlas-metastore repository, delivering an AI Asset Metadata Governance Policy to enhance policy-based updates for AI asset business metadata. He implemented backend logic in Java to enforce consistent and auditable changes within the metastore workflow, focusing on governance, auditability, and data quality for AI assets. His approach ensured that all updates were traceable and reproducible, linking changes to specific change sets for compliance. By leveraging skills in backend development, metastore management, and policy implementation, Jaagrav improved data governance coverage and policy enforcement, addressing the need for controlled, policy-driven metadata management in AI workflows.
