Developed cue point management functionality for the kaltura/server repository, enabling cue points to be associated with playlist entries rather than being restricted to individual entry IDs. This backend feature, implemented in PHP, refined condition logic to bypass strict entry ID checks, allowing for more flexible and consistent cue point handling within playlists. The approach improved data consistency and playback accuracy while reducing manual intervention and edge-case failures during QA. Work was tracked across multiple commits for traceability and involved close collaboration with QA teams. Demonstrated skills included API development, backend development, and effective use of git for version control.
