Over a two-month period, Corpo Quokka focused on expanding Hebrew localization and internationalization support for open-source projects, notably reocat/OuterTune and nix-community/home-manager. Leveraging Nix and PO file formats, Corpo Quokka integrated new Hebrew translations and updated existing ones using the Weblate translation workflow, which streamlined collaboration and ensured consistency across user-facing messages and error reporting. The work included adding and applying Hebrew .po files to Home Manager’s core and modules, as well as updating CLI translations. This targeted approach improved accessibility for Hebrew-speaking users and enhanced the projects’ readiness for broader international adoption without introducing code changes.
