He implemented the deprecation of the built-in indexer within the batcher and controller components, replacing it with a graph-based indexer to streamline indexing workflows and improve scalability. By introducing explicit user-facing error messages, he provided clear guidance for migrating to the new system, reducing confusion and easing the transition for users. This change consolidated indexing logic, reduced legacy maintenance overhead, and established a clearer path for future enhancements.
