During October 2024, Cousteau Le Commandant focused on enhancing documentation for the riscv/sdtrigpend repository by clarifying the Instruction Formats Table in the project’s reference materials. Using adoc and applying technical writing skills, Cousteau corrected the table’s column span to accurately represent bit boundaries across all instruction formats. This targeted update improved the readability and correctness of the documentation, reducing the risk of misinterpretation during implementation and testing. The change provided a more precise, standards-aligned reference for encoding formats, supporting both developer onboarding and cross-team collaboration. The work was well-scoped, low-risk, and aligned with ongoing documentation standards.
