Worked on the redhat-openshift-ecosystem/certified-operators repository to deliver the Kubecost Operator v2.8.2, enabling streamlined cost visibility for OpenShift environments. Focused on building out the CostAnalyzers Custom Resource Definition (CRD) and configuring Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to ensure secure and manageable operator deployments. Leveraged YAML to define operator resources and integrated the ClusterServiceVersion (CSV) for compatibility with the Operator Lifecycle Manager, supporting automated deployment and lifecycle management. The work enabled OpenShift users to deploy and manage Kubecost at scale, providing a foundation for cost analysis workflows within certified-operators while adhering to OpenShift’s operational standards.
