During May 2025, Meo worked on the cosmos/evm repository, delivering an upgrade of the EVM module to Cosmos SDK v0.53. The project involved refactoring the AccountKeeper interface to support unordered transactions, which enhances transaction processing flexibility and system stability. Meo also removed the params keeper usage from app.go and initParamsKeeper, simplifying module initialization and reducing runtime coupling. The work included updating Go modules and dependencies to align with the new SDK version. Using Go and leveraging skills in dependency management and refactoring, Meo modernized the module, reducing maintenance overhead and supporting the ongoing evolution of the Cosmos ecosystem.
