During July 2025, cpuidle@gmx.de focused on improving code consistency within the itchyny/go-yaml repository by delivering a comprehensive formatting cleanup. Using Go and the gofumpt tool, they reformatted all Go source files to establish a standardized code style across the project. This work did not introduce any functional changes but created a clear formatting baseline, which helps reduce stylistic diffs in future pull requests and streamlines code reviews. By aligning the repository with Go community tooling and best practices, cpuidle@gmx.de enhanced code readability and maintainability, supporting easier onboarding and more predictable continuous integration workflows for future contributors.
