Worked on the mondoohq/installer repository to enhance cross-distribution installer reliability, with a particular focus on SUSE-based systems. Delivered SUSE Installer Support by implementing Bash scripting logic to detect the presence of zypper and dynamically switch the MONDOO_INSTALLER from apt to zypper when appropriate. This approach ensured that the correct package sources were configured for Mondoo installations on SUSE, reducing manual configuration steps and streamlining onboarding for SUSE users. The work demonstrated skills in DevOps and scripting, specifically through environment-driven installer behavior and conditional package source management, resulting in improved installation consistency across different Linux distributions.
