During September 2025, Cr Bednarz enhanced the jenkinsci/opentelemetry-plugin by improving the Grafana example to support trace-to-log workflows using Loki V3 and Jaeger UIDs. Leveraging skills in Grafana, Loki, and OpenTelemetry, Cr updated the Loki log format for better compatibility and log tracing, and fixed integration links to enable seamless trace-to-logs within Grafana dashboards. This work simplified configuration and strengthened end-to-end observability across the Jenkins plugin ecosystem, allowing users to correlate traces and logs more effectively. The engineering focused on YAML-based configuration and demonstrated a solid understanding of observability integrations, delivering measurable improvements for monitoring and troubleshooting.
