Delivered enhancements to the OpenTelemetry plugin by integrating Grafana example updates, including support for Loki and Jaeger UIDs and enabling trace-to-log workflows, which improved end-to-end observability and compatibility between Loki, Jaeger, and Grafana. In grafana/alloy, addressed a reliability issue by deferring Prometheus metrics registration for the Pyroscope EBPF component until after successful construction, reducing startup noise and preventing misleading metrics exposure. Utilized Go, YAML, and observability tools, with a focus on robust integration, testing, and clear error signaling in backend systems.
