Worked on the replicatedhq/kots repository to deliver multi-version license API support, enabling seamless migration from v1beta1 to v1beta2 while maintaining backward compatibility. Introduced a LicenseWrapper abstraction to unify license operations across versions, updating core store and API paths without requiring data migration or schema changes. Focused on backend and API development using Go, with extensive refactoring to ensure version-agnostic access and robust error handling. Expanded test coverage with unit, integration, and HTTP endpoint tests, including cryptographic signature validation for both MD5 and SHA-256. Enhanced reliability by addressing pointer and nil-safety issues, reducing runtime risks across the codebase.
