Over a two-month period, contributed foundational airspace data modeling and management to the lennycolton/vatglasses-data repository, focusing on Iran’s FIR, TMA, and Tabriz CTR sectors. Established initial sector boundaries and attributes using JSON, applying geospatial analysis to ensure accurate representation for air traffic management workflows. Expanded the airspace catalog by introducing new controlled regions and standardized naming conventions and color coding, improving data consistency and downstream usability for analytics and regulatory checks. The work emphasized robust data management practices and laid the groundwork for future sectorization, operational planning, and cross-repository consistency within the VAT Glasses data ecosystem.
Monthly summary for 2025-11: Delivered airspace catalog expansion and standardization in lennycolton/vatglasses-data. Implemented the Tabriz CTR airspace and standardized naming conventions and colors across existing airspaces. This work enhances data consistency, downstream reliability, and readiness for regulatory and operational analytics.
