They identified and corrected a broken Contributing Guide URL, replacing a 404 error with a valid link to streamline the onboarding process. Using Markdown and applying skills in contribution guidelines and documentation, Mitx manually verified the updated URL to ensure accessibility and alignment with the project’s workflow. While the scope was limited to a single feature and did not involve code or bug fixes, the work demonstrated careful attention to detail and improved the overall contributor experience for the open-source project.
