During November 2025, Ben Greyling developed configurable log format selection for dagster-webserver and dagster-daemon in the dagster-io/dagster repository. He implemented this feature using Python and YAML within Helm templates, enabling JSON-formatted logs to support integration with observability platforms such as DataDog and Loki. Ben co-authored a Helm fix to ensure consistent structured logging across services, validating the rollout in a live production environment.
