Cristian Del Castillo focused on enhancing documentation quality for the canonical/snapcraft repository by standardizing language to US English across all documentation files. Using RST and YAML, Cristian applied linguistic standardization and technical writing skills to reduce terminology variance, which enabled automated spell-check and CI checks for documentation. This work improved clarity for US-based users and streamlined onboarding for new contributors by ensuring consistent language usage throughout the project. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, the depth of the work lay in its impact on maintainability, lowering support overhead and supporting automated quality assurance processes for the documentation.
