Worked on the cockroachdb/helm-charts repository to deliver a feature upgrade focused on deployment reliability for Kubernetes environments. Upgraded the CockroachDB Helm charts to version 26.2.1, aligning image tags and version references across multiple YAML files to prevent upgrade drift and ensure consistency. Collaborated on the release process, co-authoring the pull request and release commit to streamline the upgrade path for users. Leveraged DevOps practices, Helm, and Kubernetes expertise to automate version tagging and cross-repository alignment. The work simplified customer deployments, reduced the risk of inconsistent upgrades, and strengthened confidence in the release process for production environments.
