Worked on refining localization for the github-readme-stats repository, focusing on improving the clarity and accuracy of Simplified Chinese translations within the statistics UI. Addressed translation inconsistencies for key metrics such as total stars, commits, pull requests, issues, contributions, and merged pull request percentages, ensuring terminology matched the UI context. Utilized JavaScript and applied internationalization and localization best practices, with an emphasis on thorough testing to validate translation accuracy. The targeted update enhanced usability for Chinese-speaking users by reducing ambiguity in metric descriptions, ultimately supporting clearer communication of repository statistics and fostering greater trust in the displayed data.
