During the past month, contributed backend development work to the gronxb/hot-updater repository, focusing on enhancing Firebase Storage integration. Built and released a feature that introduced BasePath configuration for bundle storage, allowing targeted storage locations and improved environment isolation. The technical approach involved refactoring path-aware key generation and updating storageUri mapping to reflect the new storage structure, laying the groundwork for scalable storage management. This work was implemented using TypeScript and Node.js, leveraging Firebase’s cloud services. The changes were released as part of v0.18.0+, supporting commit-driven development and aligning deployment flexibility with evolving project requirements. No bugs were addressed.
