Worked on the nix-community/home-manager repository to enhance governance and user configurability within the Home Manager project. Delivered two features: a maintainer governance update for the television module, improving contribution oversight, and a new themes configuration option that allows users to define custom themes as TOML files, automatically deployed to the XDG config directory. Focused on maintainability and onboarding by providing thorough tests and documentation. Utilized Nix for module development, TOML for configuration, and automated commit tooling to ensure consistency and traceability. No bugs were reported during this period, reflecting an emphasis on reliability and robust configuration management practices.
