Worked on enhancing the pyadi-iio repository by extending the automated test infrastructure to support a new hardware variant, specifically the zynqmp_adrv9009_zu11eg_revb_adrv2crr_fmc_revb-sync-fmcomms8. Leveraged Python to update the test_map configuration, enabling automated recognition and validation of this hardware within continuous integration workflows. Focused on hardware integration and test automation, the work reduced manual testing requirements and accelerated regression cycles for fmcomms8 configurations. No major bugs were addressed during this period, but the feature improved validation safety and speed, aligning with broader goals of increasing hardware compatibility and reliability in the test process.
