Chloe Simpson enhanced the data migration process for the NHSDigital/ftrs-directory-of-services repository by expanding the Data Migration Testing Framework. She focused on building comprehensive happy-path test coverage across all service types and GP service categories, using Python and AWS technologies such as DynamoDB. Her approach involved developing and integrating robust scenario tests that validated end-to-end data migrations, ensuring that migrations performed reliably across diverse cases. This work strengthened the quality gate for production deployments, reducing risk and increasing confidence in future releases. Chloe’s contributions demonstrated depth in data migration and testing, emphasizing reliability and maintainability within the project’s infrastructure.
