Worked on enhancing the data migration process within the NHSDigital/ftrs-directory-of-services repository by developing a more robust Data Migration Testing Framework. Focused on expanding test coverage to include comprehensive happy-path scenarios for all service types and GP service categories, the work aimed to validate end-to-end migrations and ensure data integrity. Leveraged Python, AWS, and DynamoDB to implement and automate these tests, strengthening the quality gate for production deployments. This approach reduced migration risks and increased confidence in upcoming releases by systematically verifying that data migrations performed as expected across a variety of real-world scenarios and service configurations.
