Worked on the elastic/docs-content repository to deliver production-ready documentation guiding users on optimizing vector search in Elasticsearch using BBQ quantization strategies. Developed five comprehensive index_options examples for semantic_text fields, focusing on memory reduction and improved retrieval performance. The work involved updating Markdown documentation to align with Elastic standards, enhancing cross-document references, and clarifying quantization behavior for practitioners. All examples were validated on Elasticsearch 9.2, with technical accuracy ensured through multi-round internal and external reviews. Leveraged expertise in Elasticsearch, vector search, and quantization strategies to provide clear, actionable guidance, ensuring the documentation was ready for deployment to the production docs collection.
