Worked on stabilizing BGP-based networking within the openstack-k8s-operators/architecture repository, focusing on improving network reliability for OpenStack-Kubernetes deployments. Addressed a routing issue by implementing a BGP next-hop correction for worker node static routes, ensuring that next-hop addresses now accurately point to BGP peer interfaces on OpenShift and Kubernetes nodes. Fixed a configuration typo in the BGP setup to prevent misrouting and enhance routing stability across the BGP domain. Utilized YAML for infrastructure as code and network configuration, emphasizing maintainability and traceability through clear commit messages and targeted repository changes. The work prioritized robust, reliable network routing behavior.
