Yuanmei worked on the apache/flink repository, delivering a documentation-driven roadmap to guide the cloud-native modernization of the ForSt system. Focusing on database management and technical writing, Yuanmei authored the Cloud-native ForSt Architecture Roadmap in Markdown, detailing the current state of the disaggregated ForSt database and outlining architectural changes required for migration. This work established clear governance and traceability by linking architectural decisions to specific commits and issue IDs. Although no user-facing features or bug fixes were completed, Yuanmei’s contributions provided a structured migration plan, improved cross-team coordination, and accelerated future development by clarifying the modernization path for cloud deployments.
