Developed and delivered nested file path support for OpenAPI configuration in the qltysh/qlty repository, enabling flexible organization and discovery of OpenAPI specs across complex, multi-repository setups. Focused on configuration management using TOML, the work involved updating glob patterns and discovery logic to recognize openapi.yaml and openapi.*.yaml files in any directory structure. Comprehensive plugin and Spectral-based tests were executed, followed by manual validation to ensure real-world usability and onboarding simplicity. This feature reduces manual configuration effort, streamlines onboarding for new projects, and enhances maintainability by supporting scalable repository structures and more reliable OpenAPI specification management.
