Worked on the novasamatech/nova-spektr repository, focusing on enhancing accessibility within the ReferendumDetailsModal component. Refactored the modal by removing the ScrollArea wrapper, ensuring all referendum details are visible without requiring users to scroll, which addressed issues with content clipping and improved keyboard navigation. Applied React and front end development skills, leveraging JavaScript and TypeScript to implement accessibility best practices such as ARIA roles and focus management. This work improved the usability of the modal, reduced potential user confusion, and laid the groundwork for future accessibility enhancements, reflecting a thoughtful approach to code quality and user experience in a short timeframe.
