During May 2025, Cuttingedge237 enhanced the neoforged/NeoForge repository by delivering a feature that updates MobEffectEvent.Applicable to pass and store the source entity responsible for applying effects. This work involved modifying the event signature and internal event handling in Java, leveraging skills in event handling and modding to enable more granular logging and control. By improving observability and traceability of Mob effects, the update facilitates targeted debugging and richer analytics.
