The update involved modifying the PKGBUILD and SHA512 checksum to reflect the new release, ensuring build integrity and traceability. Leveraging skills in build systems, package management, and Shell scripting, the work included validating that the package built correctly against the latest stable OpenSBI. This targeted upgrade streamlined the build process and prepared the package for downstream testing, supporting ongoing maintenance and reliability for the archriscv-packages ecosystem during the January 2025 development cycle.
