Worked on the aseprite/aseprite repository to overhaul Skia dependency management, focusing on streamlining local development and onboarding processes. The solution introduced a local .deps directory for user installations and a shared directory strategy to support multiple local clones, reducing setup friction and improving build reliability. Using Shell scripting and build systems expertise, the approach enabled a more flexible and user-friendly workflow for managing dependencies, directly addressing issue #4998. This work improved consistency across local build environments and preserved shared resources, making it easier for new contributors to get started without compromising the stability of the build process. No bugs were fixed.
