Worked on targeted UI enhancements for the apache/superset repository, focusing on improving data visualization clarity in bubble charts. Developed and shipped a feature that enables axis label rotation, allowing users to adjust x-axis and y-axis label orientation for better readability in dense visualizations. Addressed a related bug to ensure correct rendering of rotated labels, contributing to a more intuitive dashboard experience. The work was implemented using TypeScript and front end development best practices, with clear, issue-tracked commits that support maintainability. Demonstrated a methodical approach to open-source collaboration and delivered rapid, user-focused improvements in data visualization and charting UI.
