Worked on the axoflow/axosyslog repository to enhance reliability and safety in core data paths, focusing on correcting data-generation logic and strengthening TLS-enabled sources. Using C programming and SQL, addressed two critical bugs: one resolved malformed SQL output in the insert value builder by fixing control flow for boolean values, while the other improved security by adding a NULL check after SSL_new() to prevent potential denial-of-service scenarios. Emphasized robust error handling and security best practices, particularly under memory pressure, and maintained high code quality through clear commit messages and signed-off contributions, supporting safer and more resilient production deployments.
February 2026 — axoflow/axosyslog: Reliability and safety improvements in core data paths. No new user-facing features this month; focused on correcting data-generation logic and hardening TLS sources to reduce data corruption and crash vectors. These changes strengthen data integrity, security posture, and overall system resilience, enabling safer production releases.
