During November 2024, Cye3s delivered Chinese (Simplified) localization for the xwiki/xwiki-platform repository, focusing on core modules such as AnnotationCode, Attachment API, and Core Resources. Leveraging Java and properties files, Cye3s established an end-to-end localization workflow using Weblate, automating translation synchronization and reducing manual backlog. The work included comprehensive translation of UI labels, move operations, and error messages, directly improving the user experience for Chinese speakers. By standardizing translation pipelines and documentation, Cye3s laid the foundation for scalable multilingual support, demonstrating depth in internationalization and localization engineering while prioritizing feature delivery and workflow reliability over bug fixes.
