Worked on enhancing the robustness and reliability of server handling within the zed-industries/claude-code-acp repository, focusing on the MCP server component. Addressed a critical bug by implementing explicit type validation to ensure only HTTP or SSE servers are processed, thereby reducing the risk of runtime errors from invalid configurations. Applied defensive programming techniques and thorough error handling in TypeScript to strengthen server-type branching logic, preventing accidental routing when the type field is present but invalid. This targeted fix improved code health and traceability, aligning with issue-driven development practices and contributing to the overall stability of the codebase during the period.
