Worked on the sst/opencode repository to enhance the stability and performance of the Model List Window in a React and TypeScript front end. Focused on resolving a critical issue where filtering the model list to empty results caused excessive CPU and memory usage, the solution involved implementing robust empty-state handling to prevent unnecessary resource consumption. This approach improved UI responsiveness and reduced the risk of memory leaks, especially for users managing large model lists or running long sessions. The work emphasized reliability and user experience, with targeted tests and memory-management patterns ensuring the module remained stable under edge-case scenarios.
