Worked on the getsentry/sentry-cocoa repository to enhance compatibility for iOS app extensions within the Sentry SDK. Addressed a critical build and linking issue by marking extension-unsafe types as unavailable, ensuring that app extensions could safely integrate the SDK without referencing unsupported interfaces. Utilized Swift and iOS development expertise to annotate declarations and update the public API surface, preventing accidental usage of incompatible types. Maintained cross-target compatibility in prebuilt xcframeworks, reducing build-time failures for downstream applications. Documented all changes in the changelog to communicate updates clearly to consumers, focusing on SDK development best practices and robust extension-safe integration.
