During December 2025, Daiming contributed to the Homebrew/homebrew-cask repository by introducing a new cask for Kubeterm, a graphical Kubernetes management tool for macOS. Daiming implemented the cask using Ruby scripting, focusing on semantic versioning, dependency management, and comprehensive cleanup instructions to ensure a smooth install, upgrade, and uninstall experience for users. The work expanded Homebrew’s cask catalog, making Kubernetes tooling more accessible to macOS users and supporting maintainability through clear release documentation. By establishing packaging standards and detailed uninstall guidance, Daiming demonstrated depth in Homebrew Cask packaging and macOS development, addressing both user experience and long-term support.
