Worked on the openshift/release repository to enhance release automation by updating the image mirroring configuration for the OpenShift boilerplate. Implemented an entry for image-v8.0.0, ensuring the latest boilerplate image is consistently available for mirroring and reducing manual artifact management. The update was delivered through a single, traceable commit, aligning with CI/CD and DevOps best practices. Leveraged yaml to modify configuration files, focusing on improving artifact consistency and release readiness. This work contributed to more reliable automation workflows and better traceability of changes, supporting the overall goal of streamlining the release process and minimizing manual intervention in artifact selection.
