During January 2026, Dalance integrated foundational Veryl language support into the zed-industries/extensions repository, focusing on enabling multi-language extension development. By adding Veryl as a submodule and updating TOML configuration files, Dalance established a workflow that allows the extension to recognize and load Veryl seamlessly. This work involved careful configuration management and version control using Git, ensuring that future language adapters can be incorporated with minimal friction. Documentation and onboarding materials were also updated to reflect these changes, supporting new contributors.
